FAR 141 Courses

The part 141 training at Birmingham Flight Center is offered through Accessible Aviation. There is no difference in the instructors, materials or syllabi used; the quality is identical. However, there are subtle differences in the overall course requirements, the number of and duration of flights, and level of student commitment. The course that is right for you depends on the time you wish to complete in, your available time to train, and what you want to do with your certificate.

Is Part 141 Accelerated Training Right for you?

If your goal is to earn your Instrument rating or Commercial Pilot License as soon as possible, and you feel you have the devotion to strive to get it done then this is the course for you!

Part 141 training is structured to be at a higher pace than regular training. The aim of this program is to complete the ratings in a minimum amount of time, and at as low of a cost as possible. To achieve this, however, the course requires a larger portion of student devotion to the courses, and to studying. A student in a part 141 course can expect reading and homework assignments prior to every lessons. Additionally, 141 students must be able to commit to at least 3 training activities a week in order to enroll in this course.
